Zita Feyér, a singer with a voice and charisma unmatched in Hungary, is a renowned performer and a remarkable diva of Budapest’s nightlife. She is a recipient of the Hungarian Tolerance Award and the Charity Award. She is a regular at Vörös Neon—a video of her performance on our Karaoke Show, captured by chance, has been viewed by hundreds of thousands. We thought: we have to share this voice with you, because it’s incomprehensible why the whole country doesn’t know her. Anyone who’s heard her knows why many call her “the Hungarian Tina Turner.” On her social media page, she donated three months’ worth of her earnings to help those in need, so if you come, you’ll not only get to know a fantastic singer but also support her mission.
Zita was born in 1982 in Timișoara to a family of pastors. She has been on stage since the age of four, with great successes already under her belt. As a child, she performed on major stages as a member of the Timișoara State Opera’s children’s ballet company, while also receiving continuous training in music and dance. She learned to sing from opera singers. At age 11, she began performing, singing, dancing, and playing music on her own at night. She has been a member of numerous bands (Me-Ga Dance Band, Grief, Shine On, Rehab, Kalyi Jag, Jazz And Swing, Joker Band) and has performed in nearly every country in Europe. On the night of May 29, this wonderful voice will fill the stage at Vörös Neon!
