Departure from the Calavon bike path, passing by the Ubac dolmen, one of the three in Vaucluse, then heading to Bonnieux via the Pont Julien. In Bonnieux, we'll stop at the village's Provencal market (on Fridays in season) and then head to Lacoste (Provencal market on Wednesdays in season), visit the village, and then head to Les Carrières and the Château du Marquis De Sade, which belongs to Pierre Cardin. We'll stop for a picnic (the picnic is the participant's responsibility). Visit of the castle according to the chosen option. Then, head to Ménerbes, which hosts a Provencal market on Thursdays during the season and is listed among the most beautiful villages in France. Visit the village and its monuments. We'll then set off again to visit the medieval village of Le Vieil-Oppède. Landscapes of orchards, hills, lavender fields (in bloom from mid-June to mid-July), and olive trees throughout the day. Drop-off at the starting point in the afternoon, on the side of the road to Apt, towards Les Beaumettes.
Route of approximately 45 km. You must be in good physical condition.
You must be comfortable on a bike and know how to ride well.
Not have any particular physical problems that would prevent you from getting on the bike easily (e.g., hip issues or other problems)
Bottle holder on the bike, up to 1 litre max; otherwise, bring a backpack.
