We will set off from the Calavon cycle route, pass by the Ubac dolmen (one of the three dolmens in the Vaucluse department), and then head towards Bonnieux via the Pont Julien. In Bonnieux, stop at the village's Provencal market (held on Fridays in season), then head for Lacoste (Provencal market held on Wednesdays in season). Visit the village, then continue to Les Carrières and the Château du Marquis de Sade, which belongs to Pierre Cardin. Stop for a picnic (participants are responsible for the cost of the picnic). Next, head for Ménerbes, a village listed as one of the most beautiful in France, which holds a Provencal market on Thursdays in season. Visit the village and its landmarks. We then continue our journey to visit the medieval village of Vieil-Oppède. Throughout the day, you will pass through landscapes of orchards, hills, lavender fields (in bloom from mid-June to mid-July), and olive groves. In the afternoon, you'll return to your starting point, located along the Apt road in the direction of Les Beaumettes.
The route is approximately 45 km (28 miles). A moderate level of fitness is required.
