Explore the hidden world of the Tigre Delta, where there are no roads — only rivers, islands, and forest trails. Just an hour from Buenos Aires, this guided kayaking experience takes you deep into nature, far from tourist crowds and boat traffic.
We’ll meet in the town of Tigre and begin with a scenic river cruise. A private boat will take us through the quieter channels of the delta, where locals live by the water and jungle surrounds every turn. This peaceful ride already sets the tone for the day.
At our riverside base, we’ll enjoy a homemade breakfast. You’ll taste pancakes, fresh fruit, and snacks, all paired with freshly brewed coffee. It’s the perfect way to start the day before we paddle.
Then the real adventure begins. We’ll kayak a circular route through calm, forest-lined rivers. Expect to see birds, riverside homes on stilts, wild plants, and the slow rhythm of daily life on the water. The route is safe and beginner-friendly, even if it’s your first time in a kayak.
We’ll stop on a remote island, where you can join a short hike through the jungle. These trails offer a glimpse into the lives of delta islanders — a unique mix of nature and human adaptation.
On the way back, we’ll pass by the historic home of President Sarmiento, preserved under a giant glass dome. It’s a symbol of the delta’s history and resilience.
Back at the base, you can choose to relax or enjoy an optional Argentine BBQ. The meal includes steak, chorizo, grilled vegetables, and salad. Vegetarian options are available. Dinner is not included in the base price and costs $22 per person.
We finish the day with a return boat ride to Tigre, arriving around 7 PM — refreshed, full, and with a new connection to this magical landscape.
This experience is handcrafted by local guides who live in the delta. Our goal is to create a slow, immersive journey into nature — one paddle stroke at a time.
