What you can expect

  • Meet your instructor at Higashi-Ikebukuro Station and walk to a cosy private condo. Learn the art of origami in a warm, authentic setting.

    Your instructor is certified by the Nippon Origami Association and will guide you step by step, whether you are a beginner or experienced. You will learn several models, including the famous paper crane. Advanced models are available on request.

    During a short break, enjoy two types of Japanese snacks served in a handmade origami box. You will also learn about the history of origami, from its traditional roots to modern uses.

    Take home your creations along with a deeper understanding of Japanese culture.

    Optional Experience (Book in advance)
    After the class, enjoy a special cultural experience in our private home:

    Wear a traditional kimono
    Take photos with a family-owned antique samurai sword

    Available for both men and women (max. 2 men, up to 3 women).
    Due to dressing time (approx. 20 minutes per person), this option is limited to 4 participants.

    Please note: This is a private home experience, not a rental shop. Items are limited and unique.
