What you can expect

In this activity, we'll take a boat to the community of San Francisco, which is 15 minutes away, and we'll climb Cerro Tortuguero, an inactive volcano and the highest point in the entire Costa Rican Caribbean. We'll climb approximately 450 steps to reach a viewpoint, where the views are impressive. You'll see the entire town of San Francisco and Tortuguero, the sea, rivers, animals, and much more.
This activity is totally safe for everyone and is one of the most requested in Tortuguero. The entire route has been renovated with pavements, and there's security throughout the park. The activity lasts about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
