It is a desert landscape, a geomorphological marvel. Our ancestors called it Las Salinas, now known worldwide as Valle de la Luna (Moon Valley), a collection of landscapes of incomparable beauty that resemble a fragment of the lunar landscape, hence its name. In 1982, it was declared a Nature Sanctuary and is part of the Los Flamencos National Reserve. Here, you can observe a geological show of great interest, especially at sunrise and sunset.

During your visit, you can see: the famous natural formation known to our ancestors as Los Tres Vigilantes (The Three Watchmen), today called Las Tres Marías (The Three Marys); Duna Mayor, a majestic body of sand; and vantage points such as Quebrada Honda, where the famous Piedra del Coyote is located.
