On this trip you will visit 4 of the most wonderful 4000-meter volcanoes that Mexico has, having beautiful views during the ascents and travelling exciting paths to reach their summits. You will discover Mexico through its volcanoes and visit important tourist sites on days off.
This trip is designed to have a good acclimatisation and enjoy the hikes to the fullest.
The volcanoes that we will conquer are:
Cofre de Perote (4,282 m) is the 8th highest volcano in Mexico
Sierra Negra (4,580 m) is the 5th
Malinche (4,461 m) is the 6th
Nevado de Toluca (4,680 m) is the 4th

Cofre de Perote Summit (8th mountain in Mexico) Its route begins in a beautiful forest, passes through a rocky ridge with incredible views until it reaches the summit. We will go up to the Cofre and then we will stay in a hostel in Tlachichuca.

Day 2: Sierra Negra (4580m)

Sierra Negra Volcano

Summit Sierra Negra (5 th mountain of Mexico) As we climb it we have an impressive view of the highest volcano in Mexico, Pico de Orizaba, and on its summit is the largest telescope in Latin America. We will go up to the Sierra Negra and then we will return to our hostel in Tlachichuca.

Day 3: Huamantla (Magic Town)

Day 4: La Malinche (4500m)

Malinche Summit (6th mountain in Mexico) We will start on the slopes of this mystical volcano, we will cross its forest and we will arrive at a ridge where on a clear day we can see the 3 highest volcanoes in Mexico and the beautiful valley of Puebla and Tlaxcala. We will go up to the Malinche and we will transfer to our Hotel in Mexico City.

Day 5: Historic Centre Mexico City

Mexico City

Guided visit to the historic centre of Mexico City and return to our hotel in CDMX (The Historic Centre (UNESCO); Cathedral, the Templo Mayor and the National Palace.)

Day 6: Nevado de Toluca (4680m)

Summit Nevado de Toluca (4 th mountain of Mexico) One of the most famous volcanoes in Mexico for the beautiful lagoons that are inside its crater which we will visit before going up the edge of the crater and thus reaching its cover, which is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in the country. We will climb the Nevado and then we will return to CDMX.
