Upon arrival we start at Los Tres Ojos National Park. Beauty hidden inside a cavern that houses 4 lakes, which at first was only 1, today separated from each other possess very different characteristics. We continue to the Columbus Lighthouse, a museum mausoleum built in honour of the navigator.
Continue the guided tour in the Colonial City of Santo Domingo, enter the Museum of the Royal Houses and National Pantheon, then Plaza de España, where the emblematic Alcázar de Colón is located.
We continue to the Primate Cathedral of America, also known as the Basilica Minor de Santa Maria de la Encarnación. Did you know it was the first New World Cathedral? Unbelievable! After seeing this temple built by order of Charles V, we will go to the oldest fort built by the Europeans in America: the Ozama Fortress.
