The tour takes place at the Citrus Museum in Perivoli, Chios. Our museum has 6 galleries, and we will tell you about the island’s society, citrus cultivation and exports, as well as the architecture and customs of the area’s urban families. The tour lasts approximately twenty-five minutes. This is followed by a tasting session featuring five mandarin-based products. Visitors have the opportunity to see a local mansion up close and learn about a part of the island’s history that has been well hidden for a long time. Afterwards, visitors will walk past citrus trees and have the opportunity to cool off in the museum’s café.
