What you can expect

The tour takes place at the Citrus Museum in Perivoli, Chios. Our museum has 6 galleries, and we will tell you about the island’s society, citrus cultivation and exports, as well as the architecture and customs of the area’s urban families. The tour lasts approximately one hour. This is followed by a tasting session featuring five mandarin-based products. Visitors have the opportunity to see a local mansion up close and learn about a part of the island’s history that has been fairly well hidden for a long time. Afterwards, visitors will walk past citrus trees and have the opportunity to cool off in the museum’s café.
