Experience Route
Historic Cable Car Climb on foot for 10 minutes, soaking up the local life. Hop on the world's first favela cable car to the Fifth Station, taking in panoramic views across the different levels.
Trail and Spectacular Viewpoint A 15-minute trail through the colourful alleys, discovering the daily life of the residents. You'll arrive at the viewpoint with a breathtaking view of Botafogo Cove, Sugarloaf Mountain, the Lagoon, Guanabara Bay, and Christ the Redeemer.
Michael Jackson's Laje The most famous spot where the King of Pop recorded “They Don't Care About Us.” Take photos at the statue, a symbol of peace and art, and learn about its historical and cultural impact.
