Discover the magic of the Côte de Granit Rose by electric bike
Embark on an unforgettable 2.5-hour adventure to discover one of the most spectacular landscapes in Brittany. Accompanied by Yann, a child of Trégor and a passionate cyclist, explore remarkable and unusual sites on top-of-the-line electric bikes.
A magnificent landscape carved by time
From the start at Tourony Beach, the tone is set: pink granite blocks with extravagant shapes, behemoths that have been mixed and sculpted for millennia. In front of you is the Chateau de Costaérès, built in 1895 by a Polish engineer and now an emblem of the coast. Offshore, you can see the Sept-Îles, a bird sanctuary home to more than 20,000 pairs of seabirds from 27 different species.
Picturesque ports and Breton heritage
Discover the port of Ploumanac'h, where trawlers and pleasure boats rub shoulders in a picture-postcard setting. Then go up the Traouiéros Valley along small trails lined with chapels, calvaries, and typical Breton houses. Hydrangeas, camellias and rhododendrons offer an explosion of colours and fragrances.
Between modernity and Celtic history
Your route takes you to the Pôle Phoenix with its impressive radome, the Cité des Télécoms, and the Gallic village. Take a break at the 8.10-meter-tall menhir of Saint-Uzec: the most famous Christianized menhir in Brittany with its unique sculptures.
Return along the spectacular coastline
Head towards Trégastel, passing by the Grève Blanche, which offers a 360° panoramic view. Admire the “Couronne du Roi Gradlon” and “Le Dé”, granite blocks that defy the laws of gravity. Cross the Coz-Pors with its marine aquarium, the island of Renote, then ride along the port of the bay of Saint-Anne, a grounding port dotted with rocks at low tide, creating a lunar atmosphere.
An authentic and safe experience
Yann, a member of a local cycling club, knows the trails perfectly and will accompany you in complete safety. A paradise for birds and hikers, welcome to the Côtes d'Armor, a land of contrast and authenticity.
