Discover the underwater world of Trincomalee with a Discovery Scuba Diving experience, specially designed for beginners with no prior diving experience.
Your experience begins at Trinco Bay Dive Centre, a PADI 5-Star certified dive centre in Trincomalee. You will first receive a clear and friendly briefing from a professional instructor, covering basic scuba diving skills, safety procedures, and underwater hand signals. Training starts in a swimming pool, allowing you to practice and feel comfortable with the equipment in a safe, controlled environment.
After pool training, enjoy a scenic boat ride of approximately 20–30 minutes along the Trincomalee coastline to reach the dive site near Navy Island, one of the area’s most beginner-friendly reef locations. Once in the ocean, your instructor will guide you on a calm and relaxed ocean dive, exploring colourful coral reefs and tropical marine life in Trincomalee’s crystal-clear waters.
The underwater dive lasts approximately 30–50 minutes, depending on individual breathing and comfort level. The dive is conducted at a safe depth of up to 6–12 metres, and your PADI-certified instructor stays with you at all times, ensuring a safe and enjoyable first diving experience.
