Overview

  • Combine a guided hike to Triund with an overnight camping experience at Leta on this two-day Himalayan trek. Walk through forest towards the Triund ridge for views of the Dhauladhar mountains and Kangra Valley in clear weather, then descend approximately 2 km to Leta Campsite for the night. Your package includes a trekking guide, a tent with sleeping bag and mat, dinner and breakfast. The overnight stay is at Leta, below Triund, rather than on Triund ridge. Expect sustained uphill and downhill walking on uneven terrain; moderate fitness and sturdy trekking shoes are recommended. The route and timings may be adjusted for weather, trail conditions and the group’s pace.

After breakfast on your own, meet your guide at the Manu Adventures India office in Bhagsu Nag for a briefing. Begin the climb towards Triund through forest and along mountain trails, allowing around four hours for the ascent depending on your pace and conditions. At Triund, take time to rest, photograph the scenery and enjoy views of the Dhauladhar range and Kangra Valley when visibility allows. Then descend approximately 2 km to Leta Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay in a tent with a sleeping bag and mat. The overnight campsite is at Leta, below Triund ridge.

Day 2: Leta Campsite – Bhagsu Nag

Bhagsu Nag (Pass by)

Wake up at Leta Campsite and enjoy the early-morning mountain scenery, with sunrise views subject to the weather. After the included breakfast, pack your belongings and begin the guided descent to Bhagsu Nag. Walk carefully on the uneven trail, with breaks for photographs and rest. The trek ends back at the starting area. Arrival time depends on the group’s pace and trail conditions, so allow flexibility for onward plans.
