Embark on a studry aluminium built boat to explore the nearby area of Tromsø. The Start your adventure at our Operations Base in central Tromsø — your start/finish point and “safe harbour” on land. Our crew gives a concise briefing and helps you change into warm flotation suits or high-visibility orange oilskins before we head to the boat.
We start warm. At the Operations Base, you slip into flotation suits or oilskins with our crew’s help, then walk to the boat ready for the elements. Staying comfortable from the first minute means you’ll spend more time on deck where the scenery is best.
Every departure sails with a two-person crew: a certified skipper for safe navigation, and a fishing guide focused on hands-on coaching, service and hospitality. This matters even more in rougher weather—while the skipper stays at the helm, your guide continues assisting guests, adjusting gear and serving hot drinks so you remain comfortable and cared for.
We fish with up to 6 rods at a time and rotate guests so everyone gets a turn. A fishfinder helps us locate productive spots. While catches vary with the sea, the experience doesn’t—scenic fjords, warm hosting and a cook-your-catch fish soup prepared fresh on board.
We operate weather-smart. Instead of cancelling, we usually adapt routes or timing for your comfort and safety. We also observe wildlife on their terms—we never chase or crowd animals; relaxed nature makes for better sightings and photos.
