Overview

Note: cable car closed until mid July.

The tour will give an overview of the Island of Tromsø, its history and the surrounding area. We will make a stop on the island Kvaløy, visit the beach at Telegrafbukta, cross tot he mainland to visit the Arctic Cathedral a finish with a ride up Cable Car (Fjellheisen) to go up to enjoy the most spectacular view of the island of Tromsø and the group of islands behind it.
Our guide will provide information about the region, flora, fauna, and geography.
The tour lasts for 4 hours. It ends back in the city centre or cruise ship quay.

In our tours we accept wheelchair users or PRM. We also are prepared to guide people with visual or hearing impairments, as well as neurodivergent people as well.

  • NOTE * If the Cable Car is closed for any reason, we replace that stop with a 1 hour guided visit to the Tromsø Arctic University Museum.
  • Due to maintenance the cable car is closed until July. During this time price is reduced
