Take an authentic Tuscan cooking course in the historic countryside of San Gimignano, hosted by Massimo, a sommelier and host of culinary experiences.
The experience takes place at Casalchino, a historic rural estate located along the ancient route of the Via Francigena, surrounded by vineyards, cypress trees, rolling hills, and Tuscan views.
In a relaxed and convivial atmosphere for small groups, you will learn how to prepare fresh homemade pasta using local and seasonal ingredients, discovering Tuscan traditions, local wines, and the simple hospitality of the countryside.
The experience is suitable also for families. Children up to 5 years old participate for free if they are accompanied by at least two paying adults. When booking, simply indicate the age of each child to automatically apply the correct rate.
During the class, we will prepare a traditional Tuscan menu together that includes:
Bruschetta with fresh tomatoes and basil
Homemade egg tagliatelle
Seasonal Tuscan sauce
Homemade Tiramisu
At the end of the class, everyone gathers around the table for a shared Tuscan lunch, enjoying the dishes prepared during the experience paired with local wines such as Vernaccia di San Gimignano or Chianti Colli Senesi, along with water and coffee.
From the panoramic location of Casalchino, the view opens onto the countryside of the Valley of the River Elsa and the Chianti hills, creating an authentic and relaxed atmosphere designed for travellers who want to experience the most genuine side of Tuscany.
