    Explore the renowned 8th-century Eklingji Temple, the Kula Devata of the Mewar Dynasty. Originally built by Bappa Rawal, the temple was rebuilt and renovated over centuries by rulers including Hamir Singh and Rana Kumbha. Admire the exquisite architecture, intricate carvings, and learn about its historical significance, including its transition from the Pashupata sect to the Nath sect.

    Sahasra Bahu Temples, Nagda (Approx. 2 hours)
    Next, continue to Nagda to visit the 10th-century Sahasra Bahu Temples, dedicated to Lord Virabhadra. These twin temples share a platform—the larger surrounded by ten subsidiary shrines and the smaller by four. Marvel at the Māru-Gurjara architectural style, with intricately carved interiors, mandapas, and restored shikharas. Locally known as Sas Bahu (“One with a thousand arms”), these temples reflect Nagda’s historical importance as a former city of Mewar. Nearby, you can also spot the Adbhutji Shanthinath Jain Tirth, an ancient Jain centre.
