    Itinerary Overview

    Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
    Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to a hotel near Lake Victoria. Relax or explore the city.

    Day 2: Mabamba Wetland & Lake Mburo
    Enjoy a morning boat trip at Mabamba Wetland, famous for birdwatching, especially the Shoebill stork. Proceed to Lake Mburo National Park, stopping at the equator for photos. Optional sunset nature walk or bike tour.

    Day 3: Game Drive & Transfer to Mgahinga
    Morning game drive in Lake Mburo, then travel to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, with a scenic stop at Lake Bunyonyi.

    Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking & Lake Mutanda
    Track golden monkeys in Mgahinga, then relax or canoe on Lake Mutanda.

    Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi & Batwa Pygmy Visit
    Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, visiting the Batwa pygmies to learn about their culture.

    Day 6: Gorilla Trekking
    Experience guided gorilla trekking for an hour with a gorilla family, followed by an evening cultural engagement with the Batwa community.

    Day 7: Lake Bunyonyi Relaxation
    Head to Lake Bunyonyi for a boat safari exploring its islands and relax at your lodge.

    Day 8: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
    Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, stopping in the Ishasha sector to see tree-climbing lions.

    Day 9: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Cruise
    Enjoy a morning game drive and an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, spotting crocodiles and hippos.

    Day 10: Hike Mount Rwenzori
    Transfer to Mount Rwenzori and begin a hike from 1,450 to 2,596 metres, taking in breathtaking views.

    Day 11: Explore & Exit Rwenzori
    Depending on your location, explore or descend through scenic forests, then drive to Fort Portal.

    Day 12: Semliki National Park & Fort Portal
    Visit Semliki National Park for birdwatching and hot springs, plus explore the Amabere G’anyinamwiru caves.

    Day 13: Chimpanzee Habituation & Bigodi Wetland
    Engage in a chimpanzee habituation experience in Kibale Forest, followed by a walk in Bigodi Wetland.

    Day 14: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
    Travel to Murchison Falls National Park and check in.

    Day 15: Game Drive & Boat Cruise
    Morning game drive, followed by a boat cruise on the Nile to Murchison Falls. Optional hike to the falls’ top.

    Day 16: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary & Return to Kampala
