Thingvellir National Park

Is one of the best geological wonders in Iceland. This UNESCO World Heritage Site and Game of Thrones film location. Epic Icelandic landscape, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet!
Þingvellir means assembly fields and in the year 930 AD, Iceland’s historic democratic parliament – one of the first in the world – was founded there. Most Icelandic people regard Þingvellir as a sacred place, a place of great beauty and an incredible stepping stone in their history.
Geysir
1h
The Great Geysir, which is no longer active. The area is filled with steam vents, bubbling pits, and sizzling ponds, with multicoloured patches dotted here and there. The main show of the site is the active Strokkur Geyser that gushes 20 metres up in the air every 5 to 10 minutes. The spectacular, lively sight is the highlight of the Geysir geothermal field.
Gullfoss Waterfall
1h
It is an astonishing waterfall originating from Iceland’s second-largest glacier Langjökull. Its roaring cascade first runs down a gradual slope for 11 metres (36.01 ft) then tumbles down deep into the canyon with a 21 metre (68.9 ft) magnificent, wide drop, creating impressive, beautiful mist to splash up in the air, reflecting a giant rainbow in the sunlight.
Kerid Crater
40m
Admission ticket included
We will first make a stop at the Kerid Crater in the Golden Circle, a volcanic crater lake that formed around 3000 years ago. It’s famous for the stark contrast in colours - maroon mineral sediment, dark lava rocks, and blueish lake water - forming a naturally eye-pleasing sigh

Seljalandsfoss
1h
Seljalandsfoss is one of the most breathtaking waterfalls in South Iceland with a whooping 196 ft (60 m) cascade. The waterfall is loved by travellers because you can actually walk behind it! Step behind the curtain of water and marvel at Iceland’s South Coast from a completely new perspective.
In popular culture, Seljalandsfoss Waterfall in Iceland has been featured in films and music videos. Justin Bieber’s music video for the song “I’ll Show You” was filmed at many South Iceland attractions, including Seljalandsfoss. Parts of the TV series “The Amazing Race 6” and “CKY2K” were shot near the waterfall.
Gljúfrabúi
30m
Gljúfrabúi waterfall is one of Iceland’s most ravishing hidden gems. Located just off the famous Ring Road, this natural wonder has managed to stay somewhat unknown until recently. Gljúfrabúi waterfall is 40 metres (131ft) and runs from the Gljúfurá River.
Skogafoss
1h
Skógafoss waterfall has been my all-time favourite waterfall in Iceland.
Skógafoss is one of the biggest waterfalls in Iceland, with a drop of some 60 metres and a width of 25 metres, and you can walk right up to, but be prepared to be drenched. It is just overwhelming standing next to it.
Kvernufoss
30m
Kvernufoss waterfall is a beautiful 30-meters high (98 ft) waterfall that is half-hidden away in a gorge in South Iceland, yet very close to the ring-road.
Gluggafoss/Merkjarfoss
30m
Gluggafoss waterfall is one of Iceland’s hidden gems and has a rare geological composition. This unique waterfall is a part of the series of falls running from the river Merkjá. Gluggafoss fall drops in two steps, with an initial plunge of 146 feet followed by falling through three channels for 28 feet, resembling a majestic inverted trident
Reynisfjara Beach
1h
Reynisfjara black sand beach is the most famous beach on the South Coast of Iceland. Its beautiful black sand, powerful waves, and the nearby Reynisdrangar sea stacks make Reynisfjara a truly unique place to visit and a popular filming location (Game of Thrones, Star Wars and more).
Reynisfjara Beach is one of the best-known black sanded beach in the whole world. This is a place of wild and dramatic beauty where the roaring waves of the Atlantic Ocean power ashore with tremendous force. In 1991, Reynisfjara appeared on the top ten list of the most beautiful non-tropical beaches in the world, and it is very easy to see why it was chosen!
Dyrholaey
40m
Is a small peninsula and it got its name thanks to a gigantic black arch of lava (hill-island with door-hole). The rocks of Dyrhólaey lures annually dozens of thousands of migrating birds to bear their eggs here
Solheimajokull Glacier
40m
Stunning glacier in southern Iceland, between the volcanoes Katla and Eyjafjallajökull. Part of the larger Mýrdalsjökull glacier, Sólheimajökull.
Vik

Southernmost village of Iceland. Even though it only has a population of about 300 it is an important place since it is the biggest settlement in a big area. If we are lucky during summer we can spot puffins there and enjoy good food in decloucious resteruant.
