Next, visit the Arch of Galerius, an impressive Roman monument from the 4th century, featuring detailed carvings that celebrate Emperor Galerius’ triumph over the Persians. A brief stroll brings you to the Rotonda, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the earliest Christian buildings in existence, where you can admire its exterior.

Church of Saint Dimitrios - Patron of Thessaloniki

Visit the outside of St. Demetrius Church, a stunning Byzantine monument honouring the patron saint of Thessaloniki. Known as an important pilgrimage destination, it features elaborate architectural elements and beautiful mosaics that can be seen from the entrance. If you like, you’ll also have the chance to go inside and discover its richly decorated interior.
