Our adventure begins directly from your connecting flights at the Ayers Rock Airport. We head straight into the National Park for a visit to the Cultural Centre where you can view an array of authentic local arts and crafts from Anangu people. Your guide will welcome you to the area with an introduction to local indigenous cultures before you take the short journey back to the Uluru sunset viewing area. Watch the magnificent colours change on Uluru as the glow of the desert draws our day to a close. We head back to camp for a hearty dinner and stories around the campfire before laying out under a million stars for the night in our swags or safari tents.

We rise early for breakfast at camp and an incredible drive across the Nation Park bound for Kata Tjuta as the sun starts to return to the desert landscape around us. Spend the morning hiking between the huge and mysterious domes at the Valley of the Winds with your guide and learn about local flora and fauna. This walk has opportunity for the most amazing photos and vistas the region has to offer.

The afternoon takes us back to Uluru for cultural activities with a local indigenous guide. This is your chance to interact with a member of the oldest surviving culture on the planet with translation provided by your guide. Afterwards we head back towards camp for an alternative sunset or the opportunity to join the Field of Lights or Wintjiri Wiru experiences offered by Voyages resort (booking these activities is up to you and at your own expense). We enjoy another magical night under the stars in our swags or safari tents.

Our final morning is another early start for breakfast at one of the most beautiful sunrises you will ever see over Uluru. We find a secluded place away from the crowds and take a moment to breathe in the serenity and peace of the Central Desert reawakening for another day. Once the sun is up you will embark on your final hike around the base of Uluru to reflect on what you have learned and seen over the last few days with us. Your adventure draws to a close back at Ayers Rock Airport by 12:00 for your connecting flights and your return to civilisation..
