What you can expect
A complete experience to discover the best of the so-called End of the World, combining nature, history, adventure, and typical Patagonian cuisine.
The day begins with a visit to the Tierra del Fuego National Park, the most austral park on the planet and the only one in Argentina where you can find a combination of mountains, Patagonian forests, and the sea. During the journey to the park, an expert guide shares interesting facts about the history, fauna, flora and geography of the Tierra del Fuego region.
The first stop is at the Fin del Mundo station, where those who wish can optionally take the traditional End of the World Train ride. Those who prefer not to board can take the opportunity to walk around the area and learn about the history of the railway that transported inmates from the former Ushuaia prison.
With the group reunited, we begin the tour of the park, which covers about 30 kilometres and includes stops at strategic points* for contemplation. We visit Lake Roca (Acigami), where you can admire the landscape formed by the Patagonian forest and the Chilean mountain range in the background, as well as take a leisurely walk along the lake shore.
We continue to the famous Bahía Lapataia, one of the most iconic places in the park. There is the final landmark of Ruta 3, the road that crosses Argentina from north to south, making this a symbolic point where you can literally feel like you are at the “End of the World.”
After this immersion in nature, we set off on a cruise through the Beagle Channel. During the tour, you can enjoy incredible landscapes of the Andes Mountains meeting the sea, as well as observe the region's rich marine fauna.
We pass by the Island of the Birds, habitat of several of Tierra del Fuego's seabirds, and the Island of the Sea Wolves, where colonies of sea lions live and can be observed in their natural environment. The tour also includes a stop at the famous Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, one of Ushuaia's landmarks.
To round out the day, we head for an amazing snow day experience in the Patagonian forests.
The adventure begins with a snowmobile ride, covering approximately 5 km along trails surrounded by snow-covered forests, providing a unique experience in the midst of Patagonian nature.
Next, we go on a snowshoe hike, exploring the woods and taking in the landscapes of the snowy Andes mountains. The activity lasts approximately 30 minutes and offers perfect settings for unforgettable photos.
After the activities, we enjoy a delicious all-you-can-eat buffet lunch at Park Austral, with options from Brazilian and Argentinian cuisine, including rice, beans, stroganoff, salads, and the traditional Patagonian lamb on the spit as much as you like, plus dessert. Drinks can be purchased separately.
A complete journey that brings together nature, adventure, and cuisine, providing an unforgettable experience at the southernmost tip of the continent.
