Begin your adventure with a short walk through the centre of Uyuni to acclimate, get to know the urban environment, and make basic purchases. Then, head south to the train cemetery, located 3 km from the city of Uyuni, which is one of the most important attractions of its kind in the world.
Continue your journey to the Salar de Colchani, where you can buy all kinds of salt crafts at the local fair. Head to the popular salt mounds, where you’ll have plenty of time to take unique and spectacular photos. Enjoy a box lunch with local food in the middle of the salt flats and taste an excellent selection of high-altitude wines.
Next, visit Incahuasi Island, located in the middle of the Salar de Uyuni, where you can admire the giant cacti and petrified corals. After a short walk to the top of this island, enjoy a 360-degree view of the entire salt desert.
Take in the Ojos de Sal and the sunset in the Uyuni Salt Flats. Afterwards, spend the night in a luxury camper van and enjoy a delicious dinner. At night, enjoy spectacular views of the Milky Way from the centre of the Salar de Uyuni.
On the second day, wake up early to enjoy a buffet breakfast prepared by your guide. Head towards the foot of the Tunupa volcano to visit the Stone Museum in the town of Chantani. Then, take a leisurely walk to the top of the volcano. Later, visit the town of Colchani, located on the shores of the Salar de Uyuni, and spend the night in accommodation in Uyuni.
