What you can expect

  • Day 1 – Uyuni & Uyuni Salt Flats

    Begin your adventure in Uyuni and travel by 4x4 vehicle towards the spectacular Uyuni Salt Flats, the largest salt flat in the world.

    Visit the famous Train Cemetery, where you can see historic locomotives surrounded by the desert. Continue to Colchani, a small local community known for traditional salt production and handicrafts.

    Enter the immense salt desert and explore its impressive white landscape, salt formations and natural patterns. Enjoy time for photographs, including creative perspective shots.

    When conditions allow, visit Incahuasi Island, famous for its giant cacti and panoramic views across the endless salt flats.

    Continue through the Altiplano to your accommodation and enjoy the unique landscapes of southwestern Bolivia.

    Day 2 – Lagoons, Flamingos & High-Altitude Desert

    After breakfast, continue across the spectacular Bolivian Altiplano, travelling through remote deserts, volcanic landscapes and colourful high-altitude lagoons.

    Visit Laguna Hedionda, where you may see Andean flamingos feeding in the shallow waters. Continue towards Laguna Colorada, one of the most impressive highlights of the journey, known for its reddish waters and surrounding volcanic scenery.

    Travel through the Siloli Desert and admire unusual rock formations, including the famous Stone Tree. Along the route, look for vicuñas, flamingos and other Andean wildlife.

    After a full day of exploring, continue to your accommodation in the highlands.

    Day 3 – Geysers, Hot Springs & San Pedro de Atacama

    Start the final day exploring the geothermal landscapes of the Bolivian Altiplano.

    Visit the Sol de Mañana geysers, where you can observe fumaroles, bubbling mud pools and steam rising from the volcanic ground.

    Continue to the natural hot springs, where you can relax in the warm thermal waters while surrounded by spectacular Andean scenery.

    Travel towards the Bolivia–Chile border, completing the necessary border procedures before continuing into Chile.

    The adventure concludes with drop-off in San Pedro de Atacama, the gateway to the famous Atacama Desert.
