Our excursion begins in Puerto Madryn where we will pick up passengers from their accommodation. The first stop will be at the El Desempeño checkpoint to pay the entrance fee to the Protected Area. During our excursion we will visit: Istmo Ameghino Interpretation Centre, a space that will allow us to interpret the ecosystem of Península Valdés. Puerto Pirámides, the only town on the Peninsula where we will go whale watching on board. Caleta Valdes and Punta Cantor, where we will visit a small colony of Magellanic Penguins (from mid-September) and walk along trails to see sea lions and elephant seals, always accompanied by a tour guide. The right whale watching trip lasts 1:30 hours and each outing is unique, since we will be privileged to observe these great cetaceans in freedom and in their natural environment. Year after year they arrive to these calm waters to mate and give birth to their calves. Right whales can measure up to 15 metres and weigh up to 50 tonnes.

Lunch is not included and is planned in Puerto Pirámides or Caleta Valdés. After living a day touring part of one of the most important Protected Areas of the region, we will be back in Puerto Madryn between 5 and 6 pm.
