Enjoy one of the most remarkable experiences in Chapada Diamantina: the Vale do Pati Trail, considered one of the most beautiful in Brazil and the world. In 3 days and 2 nights, you'll explore spectacular landscapes, cross valleys, rivers, viewpoints, and waterfalls, and immerse yourself in the unique hospitality of the locals.
The journey begins by leaving Lençóis (BA) towards Vila do Guiné, the starting point of the trek. The hike begins with the ascent of the Aleixos and the incredible view of the Gerais do Rio Preto, until you reach the stunning Mirante do Pati, one of the most iconic spots in Chapada. After a snack and a photo break, we'll head down to the valley, passing rivers and the charming Altina Waterfall, perfect for a refreshing swim. At night, you'll stay in the homes of locals — simple, welcoming, and full of stories.
On the second day, after a regional breakfast, we'll head towards Morro do Castelo, one of the most impressive places on the itinerary. The climb is demanding, but the reward is unforgettable: the crossing through the cave and the viewpoint at the top offer a panoramic view of the Pati Valley and the surrounding walls. The descent leads to the Funis Waterfall, one of the most beautiful spots for a swim and a rest. Head back to the local house for a home-cooked dinner and an overnight stay.
The third day is reserved for the grandiose Cachoeirão por Cima, a canyon over 300 metres high with dozens of waterfalls during the rainy season. It's the highlight of the trip, with a breathtaking view and a feeling of accomplishment. After a snack and some contemplation, we'll head back through the Gerais do Rio Preto to Vila do Guiné, where the transport awaits to take the group back to Lençóis.
Throughout the tour, you'll be accompanied by experienced and accredited local guides, ensuring safety, knowledge, and immersion in the region's culture. Meals are prepared by locals, with typical flavours and local ingredients, making the experience even more authentic.
