At THE TABLAO RUSSAFA, every Friday at 6:00 PM, in the heart of Russafa (Ruzafa), in Valencia, you'll experience much more than a show: you'll enter a space of creation and experience where flamenco truly happens.
An appointment with live flamenco, for a one-hour show plus a 15-minute intermission, where you'll experience an intense and intimate tablao, with a minimum of five artists on stage: dance, singing, guitar, and percussion pulsating just a few metres away from you.
THE TABLAO RUSSAFA was born in a area that has always looked to the future, and that vision is felt in every detail. It's not just a flamenco tablao: it's a new venue, designed from scratch, where light, sound and space are part of the stage language. Here, you don't watch flamenco from the outside: it surrounds you. The technical equipment, unusual in this type of venue, allows flamenco to be presented as a living, immersive, and contemporary performance, without losing its deepest roots.

You'll enjoy more traditional tablaos, where the essence rules and the beat sustains the purest emotion. And at other times, you'll discover performances that dialogue with other styles and sounds, incorporating instruments such as the flute, the saxophone, or the bass, expanding the soundscape without losing the roots. Tradition and exploration coexist on the same stage.
The 15-minute intermission will allow you to relax, discuss what you've experienced, have a drink, and prepare for the second part, where the energy rises again and the duende can appear at any moment.
