Experience the art of flamenco in one of the most iconic theatres in the city of Valencia.
Imagine walking into the Teatre Talia, a theatre with over a century of history, where its classical architecture and intimate atmosphere transport you to another era. But now, every Thursday at 5:30 p.m., the stage is transformed into something completely new: an authentic flamenco tablao.
With its warm atmosphere and theatrical history, the Teatre Talia becomes the home of flamenco art. Seated in their seats, the audience will witness a fusion of tradition and passion. The echo of the dancers' footsteps will reverberate off the walls, while cante jondo will fill the air, accompanied by the vibrant strings of the flamenco guitar and the captivating rhythm of the percussion. What's more, the Teatre Talia adds a special touch to the show: the contrast between the theater's sophistication and the art of flamenco creates a unique sensory experience in the very heart of Valencia, in the centre of the El Carmen area.
The show is built around the four fundamental pillars of flamenco: dance, where the dancers' bodies express the depth of their emotions; singing, which, with its heartbreaking and emotive voice, narrates stories of love, pain, and joy; guitar, which weaves melodies that resonate in the soul; and percussion, which sets the energetic and vibrant rhythm, enveloping everything in a rhythmic enchantment.
