Valencia City Bike Tour with Mo’bike
Join Mo’bike’s Valencia City Bike Tour, departing from Plaza de la Merced, and let an official local guide lead you on a ride through the most beautiful and iconic spots of the city.
Explore more than 2,000 years of history as you cycle through the charming streets of the old quarter. The tour begins at Mercado Central, Spain’s largest fresh food market and the oldest operating market in Europe.
Just steps away is La Lonja de la Seda, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Europe’s most famous examples of civil Gothic architecture. This emblematic building once served as a major silk trading centre.
Continue to Plaza de la Virgen, a historic square dating back to Roman times, and Plaza de la Reina, where you’ll see the stunning Valencia Cathedral and the Miguelete Tower. Nearby, Plaza de l’Almoina reveals fascinating Roman archaeological remains.
The last stop in the city centre is the impressive Torres de Serranos, a former city gate made up of twin towers. For a small fee, you can climb to the top and enjoy panoramic views of Valencia.
From there, head into the green heart of the city: the Turia Gardens, one of Spain’s largest urban parks, stretching over 9 kilometres. Cycle along the peaceful bike lanes through this lush space until you reach the Palau de la Música, and finally, the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences — a breathtaking cultural and scientific complex built on the former Turia riverbed.
Returning to the city centre is optional – you can either join the group back or keep the bike (for an extra fee) and return later the same day or on one of the following days.
