What you can expect

Once the official residence of the French kings, it is now the museum. Explore the Palace of Versailles and its magnificent Gardens with the help of this private self-guided audio tour.

At first, visit the palace itself. This tour will introduce you to the most iconic parts of the legendary chateau – the State Apartments. Examine the King’s and Queen’s Bedchambers as well as the emblematic Hall of Mirrors. Hear the stories about the events that took place in each of the room and discover incredible art that adorns the palace.

Then, head outside. Admire the masterpiece of Andre Lenotre – the majestic Gardens embellished by incredible fountains and classical statues. Explore the Versailles Orangerie and get to know how all that splendour was created.

Listen to the stories about famous inhabitants of the palace such as Louis XIV and Marie-Antoinette along the way. Discover the history of the chateau and immerse yourself into the life of the French Royal Court in the 18th century.
