Very early at 5:00 AM, we will pick you up from your hotel and head south of Cusco for two hours to a restaurant where we can have breakfast and use the bathrooms. Afterwards, we will travel for another hour into the mountains, reaching an altitude of 4,800 metres above sea level. Along the way, we can observe local life and customs, including llamas and alpacas. We will then arrive at Rainbow Mountain, where erosion and natural glacial meltwater have created a rainbow of colours, composed of various minerals such as iron and calcium. To reach Rainbow Mountain, we will hike for two hours or choose to ride a horse for an additional fee. The altitude will be noticeable, and we will use small oxygen tanks for this. After this experience, we will return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 2:00 PM, and drop you off at your hotel or another location of your choice.
