What you can expect

  • Your tour guide will be picking you up from your hotel in Porto Alegre and heading to the first canyon.
    He will be deciding which one you will be visiting (Itaimbezinho or Fortaleza) according to the visibility and weather conditions.

    The hikes each day may take from 2 hours up to 4 hours.
    However, if you just want to see the beauty of both canyons without the hikes, you can take a short walk and will be advised on the shortest and best route.

    You can swap the walk for a bike ride or even a horse ride. It is your tour and with us almost everything can be possible, even a balloon ride : ).
    A two-day tour is fine; however, if you want to make the most of this region, a three-day tour would be better, since Porto Alegre is four hours from the canyons.
