Overview

In our visits you will discover, calmly, one of the most beautiful towns in Cuenca. The town of Alarcón preserves a Historic and Artistic Site of relevant and extraordinary value.

During our visit we travel to the past, to those moments in which the population had its greatest splendour, which has left us, four churches, the Palace of the Council, one of the oldest in Cuenca, interesting medieval Renaissance portals and a Castle Medieval.

We will discover all the interiors of the most important buildings: the parish of Santa María, the Mural Painting of Jesús Mateo, the church of the Stma. Trinidad and the promenade of the Castle.

Alarcón, given its location, surrounded by the gorges of the Júcar river, offers one of the most spectacular views of Castilla la Mancha. It also preserves one of the best preserved medieval fortresses in Spain.
