Discover one of Poland’s most loved dishes during a relaxed, hands-on pierogi cooking class in a professional culinary studio in central Warsaw.
Your experience begins with a small tasting of Polish snacks. Try local cheeses, cured meats, pickles, fermented vegetables, seasonal preserves, and a classic Polish sweet. It is a simple introduction to traditional Polish flavours before the cooking begins.
Next, your instructor will guide you step by step through the process of making pierogi from scratch. You will prepare traditional pierogi dough, learn what makes it soft and flexible, and make two classic fillings.
Then it is time to roll the dough, cut it into circles, add the filling, and fold the dumplings by hand. You will learn simple techniques for shaping pierogi properly, sealing them well, and cooking them in the traditional way.
Once the pierogi are ready, sit down with the group and enjoy the dumplings you prepared. They will be served with sour cream and a traditional onion topping.
During the class, your host will share stories about Polish food culture, local traditions, and the role of pierogi in Polish homes, family gatherings, and celebrations. The experience is designed to be relaxed, social, and easy to follow, even if you have never cooked before.
Optional upgrades are available when booking. You can choose the classic pierogi class or upgrade your experience with a Polish vodka flight or Polish wine flight, served with your meal and tasting notes.
