What you can expect

  • Travel from London on a full-day tour through England’s history and culture. Explore Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, enjoy the picturesque Cotswolds countryside, and discover the iconic city of Oxford, famous for its dreaming spires and historic colleges.

    Stratford-Upon-Avon

Start your journey in Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare, one of the greatest writers in the English language. Stroll through this charming market town, set in the heart of rural England, and admire half-timbered buildings dating back to Shakespeare’s time. Take in the winding river and Holy Trinity Church, where Shakespeare is buried, and soak up the town’s rich literary and cultural history. Stratford is also home to the world-renowned Royal Shakespeare Company, making it a must-visit for theatre and literature lovers alike.

    Shakespeare’s Birthplace (selected option)

Step inside the house where William Shakespeare was born in 1564 and spent his early years. This beautifully preserved Tudor home offers a fascinating glimpse into the playwright’s family life and the world that shaped his imagination. Explore the historic rooms, learn about Shakespeare’s upbringing, and experience one of the most important literary landmarks in England.

Private tour of Shakespeare’s Schoolroom and Guildhall (selected option)

Step back to the 1570s and discover where young William Shakespeare was educated. During this private morning visit before the site opens to the public, explore the historic schoolroom, admire medieval wall paintings, and experience what Tudor classroom life was like in the very place where Shakespeare studied.

    The Cotswolds Village Stop

Continue through the beautiful Cotswolds region, known for its rolling hills, honey-coloured stone villages, and timeless English countryside. Enjoy a short stop in one of the charming Cotswolds villages—usually Burford—where you can stretch your legs, take photos, and soak up the atmosphere of this historic market town.

Oxford: The City of Dreaming Spires

End your day in Oxford, famously known as the “City of Dreaming Spires.” Explore the historic city on a guided walking tour, admiring its world-renowned colleges, cobbled streets, and stunning architecture. Enjoy some free time to soak up the atmosphere, browse local shops, or relax in a traditional tearoom before returning to London.
