Your Day – Two Convenient Options to Start Your Adventure
We offer two flexible starting points to fit your travel plans:
✅ Option 1: From Cancún (with Transport Included)
If you're staying in Cancún or the Riviera Maya, we’ll pick you up directly at your hotel in one of our modern, air-conditioned vehicles. From there, we’ll drive you to our meeting point, where your boat and experienced crew will be ready to begin your adventure. This option offers a seamless and worry-free experience with transport fully included in your booking.
✅ Option 2: From Isla Mujeres (More Affordable Option)
For guests staying on Isla Mujeres, this is a great value option! You'll meet us directly at our designated dock, the departure point for the tour. Transport is not included, but we’re happy to assist you with booking a local taxi service if needed, for an additional cost. We’ll confirm the exact meeting location based on logistics and weather conditions.
Get ready to board our confortable and safe 32 ft boat, meet your crew for the day and set off in comfort. We’ll take exceptional care of you, fit you for your fins, masks and lifejacket and ensure everybody is 100% at ease, feeling confident and excited to start our ride to the whale shark area.
We will start our boat ride to the north-east for about one hour to arriving to the feeding area of the whale sharks. Once there we will start our activity swimming and watching them feed around us with certified professional guide at all the times. Swimming by couples is one of the most important rules while doing this activity. You can have up to 2 times to get in the water and swim with the whale sharks. The time into the water once swimming will depend on activity conditions and physical ability to swim. Our experienced captain will drop you in the perfect spot so like that you can have a perfect view of the gentle giants.
After this amazing experience we will be ready to head back to Isla Mujeres. We will provide a snacks and drinks while navigating back. Once we arrive, if weather conditions are good we will stop in a snorkelling area to explore the shallow reef of Isla Mujeres. Then we will be ready to enjoy the North Beach Isla Mujeres and a delicious tropical meal fresh ceviche, chips and seasonal fruit. Drinks will be able during the whole experience. When we are done we will be ready to go back to the departure dock to finish this amazing day.
Duration of the tour can be shorter or longer depending on day and whale shark activity.
VERY IMPORTANT: Our main goal is to make an amazing experience for you swimming beside the whale sharks, however you should know that they are not in captivity, they are completely free in their natural habitat so we may find 1 or more than 100 and a very few times none of them. This is a OCEAN SAFARI we recommend you to be mind open and let the ocean and nature surprise you with the amazing beauty that is by itself.
