What you can expect

In a country famed for verdant landscapes, rich history, and a world-renowned warming drink, this tour explores several of Scotland's iconic sites. Stop at the ancient capital, pass stunning Highland sites, and have a chance to visit a distillery where you can sample the national drink—whisky.

Leaving Edinburgh, make our way to the ancient Scottish capital of Stirling, where the skyline is dominated by its castle and the iconic Wallace Monument. We stop to hear tales of Scotland’s most famous patriot and his part in the medieval Wars of Independence.

We then take the back roads and drive through Scotland's scenic beauty and further into the Highlands. Glens, forests and rivers aplenty, we'll take you through the heart of this picturesque region.

Upon arrival at a local distillery, you have some free time for lunch and the opportunity to embark on a guided tour of the site. Gain insight into how uisge beatha (the water of life) is made, discover the history behind one of Scotland's most iconic exports, and have the chance to sample a tipple of whisky, the nation's favourite drink.

Next, continue to The Hermitage—a National Trust for Scotland-protected site in the Highland Perthshire—for a short walk to see the spectacular Black Linn Falls on the River Braan. Before returning back to Edinburgh for approximately 5.30pm, we pass the iconic Forth Bridge, the new World Heritage Site.
