Know before you book

  • Children 2 and younger are complimentary.
  • Entrance to the State Apartments closes 30 minutes after the last admission time
  • The Semi-State Rooms usually open from autumn-spring each year. The Semi-State Rooms are not open on days when the State Apartments are closed.
  • From March to October, hours of operation are 10 AM–5:15 PM (last admission is at 4 PM).
  • From November to February, hours of operation are 10 AM–4:15 PM (last admission if at 3 PM).
  • **For Windsor Castle Admission with Transport, the bus will leave at 1.00PM during summer time (April to September) and at 11.30AM during winter time (October to March). Departure point: 4 Fountain Square, 123-151 Buckingham Palace Road.**
  • For customers own safety, all entrants will be subject to bag checks and body searches when accessing the main building.
  • Please note all vouchers must be printed for admission to Windsor Castle
