    • Windsor Castle is closed Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and December 25–26; on these dates you'll have free time to explore the town of Windsor instead.
    • St George's Chapel is closed on Sundays (extra time at the castle precincts instead). If the State Apartments are occasionally closed, your tour may visit the precincts, St George's Chapel (except Sundays), or Queen Mary's Dolls' House instead.
    • After the tour, you'll be dropped off near Gloucester Road (London Underground Station) at approximately 8:30 PM.
    • The order of the itinerary may change due to traffic or operational reasons.
    • Not wheelchair accessible

What you can expect

  • Venture beyond London to explore some of England's most iconic and historic landmarks in one unforgettable day. Step onto the royal grounds of Windsor Castle early in the morning to avoid the crowds, ponder the mysteries of Stonehenge, and roam the UNESCO-listed streets of Bath after lunch in a traditional English pub.

Depart from central London and be among the first to enter Windsor Castle, the official residence of King Charles III and the Royal Family's beloved home for over 900 years — and still very much at the heart of royal life today, with the Prince and Princess of Wales and their family settled in Windsor, just a short distance from the castle. Explore the magnificent State Apartments, still used by the King for royal receptions, and visit St George's Chapel — the site of royal weddings and the final resting place of the late Queen Elizabeth II. (Entry to Windsor Castle included if option selected)

Next, journey to the mysterious monoliths of Stonehenge, rising dramatically from Salisbury Plain. Learn the fascinating theories behind this 5,000-year-old prehistoric monument and admire its extraordinary engineering up close. Every year at the Summer Solstice, thousands of people from around the world gather here at sunrise to celebrate — a truly magical event that has taken place for millennia. (Entry included if option selected)

For lunch, stop in the enchanting village of Lacock — a medieval gem so perfectly preserved it has starred in beloved productions including Pride & Prejudice, Downton Abbey and Wolf Hall. Here, enjoy a hearty one-course meal at the George Inn, a characterful 14th-century pub that has been welcoming travellers for over 700 years. (Pub meal included if option selected)

Finally, arrive in the UNESCO-listed city of Bath, founded on natural hot springs in Roman times. Take in the elegant Georgian architecture, visit Bath Abbey and stand on Pulteney Bridge to gaze down at the flowing River Avon, before some free time to shop or enjoy afternoon tea and classical music at The Pump Room.

Don't miss this chance to experience the very best of England in one perfectly planned day.
