The walking tour starts at the Market Square. However, after a while we are off the beaten tourist track - in a different world. We start with the Mutual Respect District. This is a beautiful old district where time has stopped. In the centre of the district stands the White Stork Synagogue, the only one that survived the war. If you want, we can visit her. To this day, it has retained its pre-war beauty inside. There are old tenement houses everywhere - they survived World War II. We enter one of these preserved courtyards, where time has stopped. In the courtyard there is a stylish cafe with a beer garden.

We leave the Jewish Quarter - we go towards Świdnicka Street. We pass the Royal Palace in Wrocław and the beautiful philharmonic hall, which today stands in the place of the former castle square. We reach Świdnicka Street - this is the most representative street in the city! To this day, full of splendour and beautiful tenement houses - here stands the most famous Hotel Monopol in Wrocław. It was in this hotel - precisely on the hotel balcony - that Hitler spoke to his supporters in Breslau. Marlene Dietrich and Pablo Picasso also stayed at the hotel…

At Świdnicka Street there is also the famous Renoma department store (Warenhaus Wertheim) - the largest and most modern department store in Wrocław in the 1930s. A pearl of modernist architecture that delights to this day.

We pass Świdnicka Street and enter the Old Town Promenade - this is a walking zone - a promenade created after filling the city moat in the 17th century. We slowly climb Liebich Hill - it is a very interesting place with a romantic history. A gentle hill leads to a viewing point - the beautiful Belvedere Palace and colonnade - an entertainment area for city residents. We admire the beautiful view of both sides of the city. In the distance you can see the majestic Main Railway Station in Wrocław… a historic building referring to the tradition of English Tudor Gothic.

We go around Liebich Hill - we pass former bunkers left after the siege of Festung Breslau and reach the Oder. There is a beautiful view of the entire Cathedral Island in front of us! The tour ends here - the guide leaves the guests on the Promenade on the Oder, from here you can visit the Cathedral on your own or take a boat cruise on the Oder.
