Discover Würzburg's Old Town in a truly special way – with history, culinary delights, and a glass of wine in hand. This two-hour city tour combines fascinating historical insights with the Franconian way of life and a real highlight: a small, stylish wine tasting session right in the middle of the Old Main Bridge.
We will start in the Old Town and set out on an enjoyable stroll through Würzburg's most beautiful squares and alleyways. You'll learn more about the Baroque Falkenhaus, the Oberer and Unterer Markt squares, the Neumünster Abbey Church and the impressive cathedral – all spiced up with interesting anecdotes and local insider tips. Our route will also take us to the secluded Lusamgärtchen, a small garden with a unique atmosphere.
The highlight awaits us on the Old Main Bridge, with its unparalleled views of the Main River, Marienberg Castle, and the vineyards. During the tour, we will taste three selected Franconian wines, each in a 0.1-liter (3.4-oz) serving (e.g., Silvaner, Bacchus, Müller-Thurgau, or Domina). This way, history comes to life and becomes tangible – with a glass in hand and captivating stories.
