Day 1: Airport / High-speed Rail Pick-up, Hotel Check-in & Guided Starlight Night Market Tour

We will pick you up at Xishuangbanna Gasa International Airport or Xishuangbanna Railway Station after your arrival. Then we will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel to complete the check-in process. In the evening, your dedicated tour guide will take you to visit the well-known Starlight Night Market. The guide will introduce local Dai culture, recommended snacks and characteristic handicraft stalls for you.

Day 2: Wild Elephant Valley and Jinuo Mountain Village

Join your private guide for a full-day tour of the rainforest and ethnic villages. Visit Wild Elephant Valley, the only safe spot in China to observe wild Asian elephants in their natural habitat. Then, head to Jinuo Mountain Village to experience the lifestyle, folk dances, and traditional handicrafts of the Jinuo ethnic minority.

Day 3: Tropical Botanical Garden and Dai Minority Garden

Explore the world-famous Tropical Botanical Garden, home to thousands of rare tropical plants, towering ancient trees, and exotic flowers. Afterwards, visit Dai Minority Garden, a well-preserved cluster of traditional Dai stilt villages. Watch Dai folk performances and learn about local Dai water-splashing culture and village customs.

Day 4: Primitive Forest Park, Manting Park, and Zongfo Temple

Witness the stunning thousands-peacock flying show at Primitive Forest Park, surrounded by lush primeval rainforest. In the afternoon, visit Manting Park, the ancient royal garden of Dai kings with over 1,300 years of history. Walk through peaceful lotus ponds and tropical gardens, then tour Zongfo Temple, the oldest Theravada Buddhist temple in Xishuangbanna.

Day 5: Departure

After breakfast, your driver will transfer you directly to Xishuangbanna Gasa International Airport for your departure flight, wrapping up your 5-day tropical journey.
