Keep your eyes open—you might spot wild Yakushima macaques and deer quietly living among the trees. Along the way, don’t miss out on iconic stops like the Yakushima Lighthouse, perched dramatically on seaside cliffs, or the spectacular Ōko-no-taki Waterfall, cascading 88 metres down into the forest.

Thanks to electric assist, hills are a breeze—so even if you’re not used to cycling, you can relax and enjoy the ride.
