What you can expect

  • Jomblang Cave is located in Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta. Tourists descend into a vertical sinkhole up to 80 metres deep using a manual pulley system operated by local people. This take a bit courage, but the operation is generally very easy and safe, even for elderly & children.

    Inside the cave, the sun may shine through an entrance hole, this phenomenon is famously knows as “heavenly light”. As you walk deeper, you will be greeted by the beauty of stalagmites and stalactites that were formed millions of years ago. N

    At the end of the exploration you will be called one by one and be lifted upward. Lunch is usually provided by the site manager, and then we will bring you back to your Hotel. Alternatively, we offer dop-off points (airport of train station).
