First swim stop: Xigia Natural Spa Beach (45 minutes). The water here is naturally infused with sulphur — known for healing skin conditions. A uniquely therapeutic stop that most competitors on the island skip entirely.
From Xigia the ship passes close to the coastline, giving you panoramic views and photo opportunities of the entire island. You'll pass the harbour of Agios Nikolaos, where the Venetian watchtower stands on the cliff above the port.
The Blue Caves. Approaching from the sea, the sunlight transforms the cave water into electric shades of blue, turquoise, violet and red. The Pirate Ship enters the largest cave for an up-close experience and photos.
Shipwreck Beach (Navagio) — the main highlight of the day. One of the most photographed beaches on Earth, accessible only by sea. The rusted hull of a 1980s freighter rests on a crescent of white sand, framed by towering white limestone cliffs. Continuing south, the ship passes Porto Vromi — the oldest fishing village on Zakynthos, where the Face of Poseidon is carved naturally into the cliffs above the sea.
Second swim stop: Korakonisi. A secluded sea-level stop with no road access — only reachable by boat. Crystal-clear Ionian waters and total seclusion.
Dragon Caves — a complex of 230 sea caves. The Pirate Ship enters the largest cave for a dramatic pirate show inside the cavern — one of the most memorable moments of the day.
Third swim stop: Keri Caves / Oasis Beach in the south of the island. Spectacular cave formations above and crystal water below.
On the final stretch, you pass Marathonisi and Pelouzos — the turtle-shaped islands at the heart of the Zakynthos Marine Park. Watch the water for Caretta-Caretta sea turtles. The return route follows the east coast back past Porto Zoro, Banana Beach, Porto Roma, and Argasi, docking at Zakynthos Town at 17:00.
Throughout the entire cruise: live pirate shows, Greek music, dancing, and entertainment by the crew. Sandwiches, snacks, and cold drinks are available to purchase onboard.
