"Great location, reasonable price and right above a cool bar/town square area, but there were very limited facilities provided in the room. No soap, glasses or hairdryer etc, so make sure to bring your own! My main issue with the room (12) however was that there was a large gap in the ceiling that opened up to an attic area with velux windows built in. "The hotel is above and behind a restaurant where I enjoyed a good meal. Breakfast was excellent, my room was quiet and efficient. I was tired after a flight from the US and it was a great place to spend that first night in Europe. Parking was no problem since I was there from evening to before 9 am the next day."

"This was our second visit to Blue Nijmegen. Once again we were impressed by the staff, meals, cleanliness and comfort. The bed was so comfy that it was difficult to get going in the morning. The only minor downside is that the rooms are a bit snug, especially with the TV at the foot of the bed. We will be back!"

"It was an amazing stay. The guesthouse is a great hotel with all the amenities required. We were there 4 nights and it’s a great hub for travel in the Netherlands. Nijmegen is a beautiful city with great restaurants and cafes and an awesome vibe. The guesthouse is truly a home away from home. The staff and owner are friendly and always willing to go above and beyond. The cafe downstairs has great coffee and sandwiches. "

"I chose this hotel because it had a restaurant but without warning the restaurant was closed due to a wedding being on. The music finished at 12 as expected but the celebration carried on outside our room in the corridor until 2pm, with shouting, laughter and people/children running around. We didn’t get much sleep. Very disappointing. The upsides were hot water, nice soap and a kettle in the room. "

"The property is a bit dated but clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was good. You can't park directly at the hotel but there is an underground garage 5 minutes walk across from the park behind the hotel. They do let you pull up to unload and load luggage for check-in/out and discount the parking garage fee. The Riverside view was spectacular and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. I would stay again."

"The location of the hotel is great - the newly remodeled rooms are roomy and have a very nice design - breakfast was generous, a great value and yummy. My mistake was to forget if there was an elevator - there is not and the stairs are steep - also make sure you read the directions on how to find the parking lot - is is very conveniently located but the GPS does not find it due to pedestrian zones. "
