I would highly recommend this hotel for it's views, comfort, attention to detail and great service. My only advice would be, be prepared to get a leg work out! Given it's location you'll need to take many stairs if you come by the bus. It's well worth it! "

"Christian was extremely helpful and responsive. The "90 steps" property was wonderful. The shower was the first, big, good water pressure, plenty of hot water shower I've had to date in Italy. The place has style, charm and it perfectly located in Amalfi. If you don't like the 90 steps then you probably won't like the Amalfi coast as every town is the land of stairs. "

"We loved our stay here in this busy little pocket of Amalfi. We were there mid-April and although day time was bustling with ppl, evening was much quieter. Staff were very attentive when called upon and morning breakfasts in the restaurant upstairs with the view of the beautiful cathedral was wonderful. Unfortunately, our room was right under the restaurant so was quite alot of noise, it didn't keep us from getting a good nights sleep."

"Very spacious room and it was comfy. Unfortunately there is a bar down the street so it was noisy until 1a and the trash receptacles get dumped at 4:30a each morning. Also the shower was not fully functional and shared water everywhere."

"Everything about Villa Annalara was beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming. The views are amazing, the breakfasts are amazing, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is just far enough away to avoid the hustle & bustle. Highly recommended, and hope to return someday!"

Hotel provides beach towels to use on the free beach, so there is no need to rent chairs or buy towels in the store, and then carry them around. "This place is AMAZING! Our room had a balcony that overlooking the ocean so you could hear the waves all night. The staff go out of their way to make you feel right at home. We stayed for 6 days and felt like part of the family. The attached restaurant and bar is so good, serving delicious fare and drinks. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic!
