"Beautiful, traditional hotel with very attentive staff, exceptional food & great position within Champoluc for ski lifts (5 mins walk). Needed feather pillows & duvet in room which staff sorted out immediately. Every night (part of half board) we were given an exceptional 4 course dinner. The communal parts of hotel are very comfortable & somewhere you want to spend time after a day skiing. "Maison Cly is the only hotel in Chamois. Staff try hard and rooms are all different- some very large (duplex) but others are more modern. Overall rooms are ok. The main points were that we had no real control over our heating which meant I had to ask reception every time I wanted the heating either on or off. The beds had only sheets on them which with two wriggly children is just impractical - but I am aware that the more modern rooms had proper duvets. Staff tried really hard to accommodate...
